Certification Coverage Areas Endorsements Requirements Instructional Programs |
The Add-On Certification Program is a district level program authorized by state board rule and approved by the Florida Department of Education for the purpose of assisting the district in meeting priority needs in critical staffing areas. The Add-On Certification
Program provides a mechanism through which teachers can
expand their areas or levels of certification in designated
instructional or special program areas or add endorsements
to their certificates. Through the Add-On Certification
Program teachers can use approved inservice courses or a
combination of approved inservice courses and
college/university credits to add new certification coverage
areas or endorsements
to their certificates.
