PROFESSIONAL SECRETARY PROGRAM





Office personnel interested in participating in the Professional Secretary Program (PSP) may take elective courses above the maximum number of 22 which are compensated by the Professional Office Personnel Development Program (POPDP). These additional elective courses will not be compensated but will be banked and applied toward the PSP until a total of 40 courses have been completed. The additional courses must consist of the following designated courses offered within the POPDP:

Internet I

Power Point - I, II, III

Microsoft Access

Developing Writing Skills - I, II, III

Desktop Publishing - I, II, III

Excel - I, II, III

Registration fees will be reimbursed only for the designated POPDP courses taken leading to a PSP Certificate. College courses satisfactorily completed will be individually reviewed and considered along with courses taken in the POPDP.

Upon completion of the PSP, participants will receive a certificate of completion and will be eligible for an annual supplement of $250.

To be reimbursed for registration fees upon completion of the 18 designated courses, submit the Validation Forms (FM-2208 Rev. 01-97) along with paid registration receipts to #9316, Non-Instructional Training Program, ATTN: Michelle Hicks-Levy.
